Public protection measures
The additional, enhanced-tier requirements on top of procedures: monitoring, movement, physical safety and security of information.
Public protection measures apply at the enhanced tier, in addition to the four procedures. So far as reasonably practicable, enhanced premises and qualifying events must have measures across four areas: monitoring the premises and immediate vicinity; the movement of people in, out and around; physical safety and security; and the security of information.
Enhanced premises must also document their procedures and measures and provide that document to the SIA.
Who it affects: Enhanced-tier premises (800+) and qualifying events.
